Appropriate bird cage?

I have 4 cockatiels. I was give a very nice huge bird cage, the kind that stands on the floor. I would like to transfer the birds into the larger cage but I am worried because the bars on the cage have a space of 1inch in between them. Is that too much of a space between the bars for cockatiels? I don’t want them to hurt themselves getting stuck or something like that.

That cage with that bar spacing is meant for a very large parrot and isnt suitable for your cockatiels…sorry.

I think the best thing to do would be to get a different cage if you want to transfer them. Unfortunatly, one inch would probably be enough for a cockatiel’s head to peak through the bars. I wouldn’t say that’s enough to escape, just maybe get hurt.
    That’s just my best guess.
    O.o

I think the spacing is too big, but most importantly birds like LONG cages, not TALL ones
