I really want a bird and am totally obsessed with them. I told them I will pay for everything but they said they don’t like birds in cages. I know how they feel but they don’t know how I do

I have had my pet budgie Stormy in the same cage since the time I got him, and lately he’s been.. well, acting bored. He isn’t playing with his toys much, and he just acts lazy ( and chews on the cage’s bars.. which is kind of cute <3 ). At first I thought he was sick, so I took him to the vet, but she said it was just boredom. SO I want to buy him a new cage and new toys.. but cages at pet stores ( like Petsmart and Petco ) are a little expensive, and I only want to buy a cage from there as a last resort. So, do you know of any good websites I can go onto to buy my budgie a new cage? I DID google some up, but I want your suggestion Thanks!

I have an art project that requires me to come up with a new way to use a bird cage, and then take a picture of it being used in the new way- I thought of plant holder or candle holder, but those aren’t very creative. Any ideas?

I recently Primered and painted the birds poop tray and YET , the AMONIA still eats through the paint/primer. WHAT do I do?? IS there anything I can do to prevent the amonia from eating to the paint?? ALSO.. I need some form of procedure, or bird safe chemicals that can handle daily cleaning and scubbing when I clean the bottom of the tray!!

I’ve read the book.I think an example of being emotionally imprisoned is her being trapped in the idea that she is ugly and she must be a cinderella look-a-like to be noticed.Maybe she is socially imprisoned by her race.The only problem is i have no idea of any examples of when she is physically imprisoned.

I am planning on getting a bird. Right now I’m in the "prove your responsible" stage with my mom. I started knitting a little while ago and have now started making a cage cover for my bird. I was wondering if that is considered a "breathable" cover. Also would the tiny holes disturb my bird when the sun is up and peeks through?

the wholes are NOT that big by the way. they are just little cracks
