The base of my old cage broke when my wife was cleaning it. So I went to Pet Smart and bought a new one. They had a sale on large bird cages and they were only higher than the cage I was going to buy. So I bought the large cage. I have three keets and they seem happy to have all the room to jump around in. They can’t fit through the wire. But it is a big cage for parrots and such.Can a cage be to big for small birds?

Can i put construction paper in my birds cages or nest box?

Why or Why not??

I wanted to put the construction paper in the nest box because the store bought nesting material is white-ish and its hard to tell if there are eggs in the box!

I have 2 cockatiels if that make any difference….because i know some birds can have things other can not!

I was wondering because my room gets pretty hot at night. If I covered the cage with a blanket or towel. Would it be ok for the birds and still keep the fan on? I could also put a heat source in there if it got too cold.

Bunny condos are, in my opinion, really ugly. Is there a way to disguise a rabbit home so it blends in with normal furniture? Would it be possible to renovate a large, ornate bird cage to house a rabbit?

Ben is a very shy bird, so it’s a big step for him to be out of his cage at his own will and sitting so closely to Desmond and keeping calm.
