Is this cage big enough for an african grey?

There’s a grey on top so I’m assuming it’s the right size.
The interior height is only 30" not 64, the smallest size you should be looking at is 6ft x 6ft x 6ft – think aviary instead of cage.
It’s okay for keeping a parrot in at night but African Greys should never be kept in such small cages for more than a few hours at a time, they need to spend most of their time in the open where they can climb freely and fly; try to reproduce natural conditions.
African Grey parrots are also unbelievably intelligent, if I told you how smart they are you’d think I was b*lls**ting or on drugs. They need a lot of care and attention so if in doubt don’t even think about buying one.
Yes, that looks adequate. Nice looking Cage. Just remember, your bird being on top of that cage will put you in a submissive position. The bird will get a little aggressive.

The measurements you mentioned are far to small for an African Grey. That is the size cage I use for Cockatiels and small Conures. The rule of thumb is, Buy the BIGGEST cage you can afford. Remember your bird will be spending a lot of hours in that cage and will need lots of room to play, flap his wings and just be the clown that all Greys are.

I personally would never purchase a cage on-line or from a catalog (because of shipping costs), but if you log onto http://www.drsfostersmith.com you will see a large selection of cages that are appropriate for a bird the size of a Grey.
I have 2 greys at the moment and tried to re-home one in a cage the size you described,and the bird wouldn’t have it. So I would answer,no it is not big enough for more advice go to yahoo groups- african grey parrot club please, many there will verify the cage size.
