Well, I’ll wait for atleast two more answers, and if i don’t get any in an hour I will be getting cage #2, Three Perch Playtop W/ Optional Stand. Thankyou for all your opinions and help!
I like the second one, but it depends how many birds you own
My sister has a Parrotlet, and she stays in a cage much like the two. The same bar spacing and door arrangement as the first one, but it is completely square like the second one with no ‘roof’. When she is not in her cage she is either on my sister’s shoulder, her bed, or my shoulder or hand
The first one looks like a very good one for a Cockatiel. Tiels are very playful birds and if they get bired, I would be concerned about getting their head or beak stuck in the 3/4 inch spacing as the second one. But I have found that most birds don’t even use the full height of the cage, they rarely go all the way down to the bottom, they prefer to stay near the top or middle. What I like about the second one is that it has a rack on the bottom. That comes in handy a lot, it saves a lot of space so you can put seeds, treats, nail clippers, scissors and spray bottles on the rack. I also like the perch on top so the bird can come out and be out of its cage, but have the choice of sitting on a perch instead of just flying around.
But the first one has more perches and cups. It takes up quite a bit of room but it makes up for it with the extra 8 inches of height to the cage. Many birds like to explore and drink and eat from different feeder cups, and you can also put fruits and veggies in one, seeds in the other, water in the other two, or whatever you like.
So for a cockatiel, definitely the first one.
The second one.
The first is for canaries and budgies etc. The cockatiel is a parrot and needs more room and will enjoy you opening the roof so she can fly around
good luck
number two deff! i have one almost identical to that and my teil loves it! number one has vertical thin bars, not good for a bird. it’ exerts too much energy trying to climb that than with vertical bars (like a person climbing a ladder with vertical steps). but i suggest trying to find the cage in silver, paint may chip on a black one and it may scare the bird. silver is a nice cage neutural. good luck with your teil! ♥♥
Definetely number 2.
The first one is really fancy and it doesnt really include anything. It seems like more of a hassle for nothing.
as for number 3, i had the same one. It was VERY messy.
number two is more for cockatiels. It even has a perch.
