I really want my Sun Conure to have a big cage, but I am in love with the design of the second, smaller cage. So, I’m wondering if my conure even needs a cage that big. I’m having a difficult time deciding, please help, thank you (:

I have a love bird and one of my cats found a way to get to the cage that was hanging from the ceiling and it bit one of the birds legs off the bird seems to being fine but I am not sure if she will live or not.

Is plexiglas safe for building bird cages?

I want to build a out door bird aviary for my four love birds and two parakeets. They will be separated because I am not sure all will get along, I plan to build a "roof" on it to match in to my house roof. Is Plexiglas safe for the sides of this? I will probably not go all the way to the top for venting is rabbit wire ok?

My mom is alergic to birds and I want an outdoor bird but I have a cat so it would have to be a hanging cage. Any sugestions?
I rent a basement apartment and my cat is outdoors. I could possibly keep it upstairs or at ny dad’s house.
The bird I want is a love dove.
