need help making a bird cage ?for budgies?
im planning to make a cage 20×13x20, out of these parts:balsa wood for the frame and stainless steel wire for the mesh. im gonna make the other parts out of balsa wood il try to make a removable tray ,if i cant il just put newspaper at the bottom and pick up the cage when i need to clean it. so do you think this is a good idea. what are the risks/positives and how to solve some of the risks
where do you get the wire they make for small animal/bird cages at??
i wanna add an "addition" to my sugar glider cage but i went to lowes and couldnt find nething that is like the current stuff my cage is made out of now…where do the companies get it? i need like the hard plastic coated wire not the mesh or nething….ne ideas? …i have debated getting a bird cage that is the same size as mine…cutting the top off and connecting the two but dont wanna spend 50 +.
Does anyone know a website that sells stainless steel welded wire by the roll for bird cages?
I can’t find a site that I can buy this from. The ideal size is 1/2"X1" mesh on a 36"X50′ roll. I have found many with galvanized steel but this is toxic for birds.
