Assembling New Aluminum Kings Cage for Upcoming Parrot
trainedparrot.com Some of you may know that I’m getting a new parrot soon. So a few weeks ago I went and bought a new cage, tree, and supplies for the new bird. I won’t have it till June but I already bought everything so I can start getting Kili used to NOT going on the new bird’s areas. For those of you curious what new parrot I have coming, it is a Cape Parrot which is of the genus Poicephalus (same as Senegal Parrot). I am starting a new blog (and it is still very rough and incomplete) to chronicle my experience with this new flighted (never clipped) baby Cape Parrot. I will be writing articles and sharing videos of the entire training process from the day I get the bird and show you how I get it out of the carrier and into the cage for the first time. My first post was about how I chose the cage, assembly, and finally my review of Kings Cages and the cage itself. I highly recommend anyone planning to buy a parrot or cage to read this article to familiarize yourself with some of the supplies and cages available for a new parrot. So check out photos and my complete review of the new cage on my new parrot blog: trainedparrot.com Enjoy.
